My worst fears about John Bolton have been realized. Heavy handed bully techniques, reminiscent of a 5-year old having a tantrum, have no place in the United Nations. Yet this is John Bolton's modus operandi. Once again, the United States comes off as a belligerant, arrogant, self-absorbed nation that couldn't care less what other nations in the world think. It's our way or the highway. And it is nothing less than disgraceful.

Coupled with our policies on pre-emptive war and torture, our national gluttony, and our hypocritical messages at every turn, as a nation, we continue to lose the moral high ground which once garnered the world's respect. As long as the current administration remains in power, it will get only worse.

If I could, I'd stand up in Congress right this instant and call for the resignation of the entire administration. Really, people, this is OUR country, and Bush & Company are very quickly destroying everything we once loved about it.
