In my humble opinion, Woodward's revelations are all much ado about nothing. The only one who really knows the significance of any of this is Fitzgerald--and he ain't talkin'.
Woodward off-handedly dismisses the entire Plamegate investigation as almost frivolous, which leads me to suspect both his motives and his morals. It was the CIA, after all, that asked for this investigation--not the Dems.
Despite the fact that Woodward was given permission by his sources to testify, Woodward's main concern seems to be that he protect the confidentiality of his sources. Given the nature of his work, that concern is certainly appropriate. However, when protecting sources takes possible precedent over getting to the truth about a potentially treasonous top government coverup, I say, "get over it"-- the rights of people of the United States come before yours.
