WATCH THE VIDEO: Carly Sheehan: A Nation Rocked to Sleep

CLICK TO WATCH VIDEO: t r u t h o u t - Carly Sheehan: A Nation Rocked to Sleep - A Film by Peter Dudar and Sally Marr

This week, Carly Sheehan's mother, Cindy Sheehan, was found guilty of demonstrating without a license and fined $75.00. Cindy and others arrested with her were trying to deliver a petition opposing the war to White House officials but could find no one to take it from them. So they were arrested outside the White House -- the People's House -- for exercising their civil rights -- while, inside, the perpetrator's of the illegitimate war that took the life of Cindy's son -- sat, unaffected, oblivious, and uncaring.

Cindy Sheehan was fined $75 for protesting a war that killed her son. What are we going to fine those who took us into that war with lies and who are responsible for the deaths of over 2000 American troops and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis? What is their punishment? Where is justice?

This video is a beautiful tribute to Veteran's for Peace. Carly Sheehan's simple words are moving. So are the images.
Get out a box of tissues. And watch.
