I watched the show, and all I can say is Woodward looked more uncomfortable than a sixteen year old whose father just caught him doing crack. He was squirmily, wormily defensive while he fumphied and figited his way though the interview. My opinion: he has been resting on his Watergate laurels for 20 years too long and enjoying an unearned reputation as a great "investigative reporter" ever since. Somehow, writing books on Bush and the White House and taking what they tell him as fact without investigating whether or not it is factual does not equate to great investigative reporting. But all those book sales sure did wonders for inflating his ego along with his wallet. Oh well, another hero bites the dust....
