Walter Murphy, Princeton's McCormick Professor in Jurisprudence Emeritus, who has kept in touch with Alito over the years and invited him to guest lecture in classes, offers some impressions of Alito's stances on key judicial questions. Murphy reveals a few interesting insights into the man, but not much in the way of any big surprises. The jury is still out, but this juror, while trying to maintain an open mind, is decidedly leaning towards a "no approval" vote.
