Isn't it reassuring to know that every time you write a letter to President Bush about an issue that concerns you, you will always get a response? I've sent numerous letters to Mr. Bush over the years, and no matter what or how serious the issue, I always get the same oh so concerned, bend-over-backwards caring response:

On behalf of President Bush, thank you for your correspondence.
We appreciate hearing your views and welcome your suggestions.
Due to the large volume of e-mail received, the White House is
unable to respond to every message, and therefore this response
is an autoreply.
Thank you again for taking the time to write.
