9/11 Commission Gives White House an "F"

On Monday, the US commission that investigated the 9/11 attacks gave the government a FAILING GRADE on the following:

1. Isolate Terrorist Groups - F (Failure to move quickly)

2. Discourage Weapons Proliferation - F (Failure to move quickly)

3. Prevent Terrorists From Aquiring WMD - F (Insufficient Progress)

4. Better Define US message to Muslim World - F (Minimal Progress)

5. Establish Clear Standards for Terrorist Detention Among All Members of the US-led Coalition Fighting the War on Terror - F (Unfulfilled)

“'Those grades are failing grades,' said Tim Roemer, a former Democratic US congressman and one of the 10 commissioners. 'That is an unacceptable response that is unresponsive to the needs of our people.'”
