The New York Times reported last year that at least 20 federal agencies distributed “Video News Releases” on topics such as Iraq and the Medicare prescription drug act.
The Federal Communications Commission recently announced that it would investigate fake news but has made no sign that enforcement of its own rules banning it is anywhere on the horizon.
Take Action: Stop Fake News: Send a message to FCC Chairman Kevin J. Martin urgining him to stop corporate and government distribution of "fake news."
