'Preventive Warriors'

Must See.

From Democracy Now, for those of you who have yet to see it, the documentary film, "Preventive Warriors" examines the (then) bold, new foreign policy paper introduced by Bushco in September, 2002, entitled: "The National Security Strategy of the United States of America"

Most Americans have probably never seen this subversive little document, which provides much of post 9/11 rationale for bombing the b'jesus out of Iraq.

Be sure to read it -- it's the Shrub's version of War of the Worlds -- only less believable -- and Shrub decides to go after them before they come after us.

Whatever. The document outlines the radical "pre-emptive war" doctrine now so central to our wonderfully benevolent foreign policy. (They're still thanking us in Iraq...aren't they??)

Since this document's inception, well over 2,000 U.S. soldiers have been killed, thousands more injured, and God only knows how many innocent Iraqi lives have been lost or damaged.

What better way to remember them and remind ourselves, through the viewing of this documentary, of our un-trusty leaders' malevolent national security strategy?

Ok, maybe it's just my way of getting back at Georgie for having to listen to yet another one of his lousy, lying speeches in defense of his God forsaken Iraq policy.

The film features many of today's leading thinkers and intellectuals (a really nice change from Mr. Misunderestimated) including Noam Chomsky, Chalmers Johnson, Tariq Ali and more.

You should watch it.
