Just send a short, simple, forceful letter to your Senators asking them to oppose Judge Samuel Alito for the Supreme Court.Judge Alito has a record of extreme views on issues like privacy and civil rights and a pattern of deception to hide them from congress and the public. He also favors unprecedented executive branch powers (he supports King George's use of Presidential power, which has been systematically destroying the balance of power in our democracy!) He has a record of an unusually high number of dissents from the majority view on the bench--most of which neatly support his ultra-conservative right wing political beliefs at the expense of the law. He's the wrong choice for the highest court in the land.
