U.S. IS SAID TO PAY TO PLANT ARTICLES IN IRAQ PAPERS
The independent, free press today has exposed "a multimillion-dollar covert campaign to plant paid propaganda in the Iraqi news media and pay friendly Iraqi journalists monthly stipends." The supposedly journalistic news stories are presented as just that, when, in fact, they are pure propaganda, i.e., lies--compliments of the United States Government.
Military officials and contractors said that storyboards (the military's term for the groups of articles) are delivered to the LIncoln Group, a "Washington-based public relations firm paid by the Pentagon." The contractors translate the articles into Arabic and then submit them to Iraqi newspapers or ad agencies--without revealing the Pentagon's role.
This is how Bush & Company "spread freedom", folks, by abusing one of the most crucial freedoms: that of an independent, free press. This is how Bush & Company thinks they will win hearts and minds of the Iraqis -- who are all to aware of the fraud. This is another abomination of the Bush White House: a group of dangerous, fascist, anti-American, greedy, unethical, evil people who should be impeached for so many offenses one gets dizzy just trying to remember them all.
