Bush: Staged Propaganda Speech No. 4

Talk about staged!

Bush delivered his 4th and, thankfully, last Iraq "C'mon-Ya-C'n-Trust-Me" speech in front of a backdrop of the requisite stars and stripes, but this time there was something new: a backdrop wall full of "W's" (that, upon a closer look, actually stand for Woodrow Wilson), but on TV work to subliminally reinforce good ol' War President George "W".

Man how obvious, not to mention egocentric, can you get?

I'd call it "subliminal advertising", except that it's too blatant to be subliminal.

This White House really missed their calling. They oughta get out of government and, instead, open an unethical advertising agency--named BushCo, perhaps--to service their big, rich corporate friends. That way they could all concentrate on using lies, smears, misleading ads, subliminal messages, and all kinds of other illegal advertising techniques to make money for themselves and their cronies--and leave the rest of us alone.

Maybe the next anti-war protest could sport some new signs: "Make Ads, Not War."
