And the clouds shattered into pieces of vapor
Like ethereal thought shards
Attacking the earth
Parched in creviced lips
Drinking in shafts of ashen rain
Drooling rivers
And tonguing shores
Awash with sea smells
And fish tales
And scaly words wailing
Over sirens signaling death.
