And the Winners Are--Hey! What About Me?

Looks like ABC forgot to include The Unknown Candidate in their political analysis. I'm miffed. But maybe it's a good thing they did.

Check out ABC News Political Unit's 2008 Presidential Primary Ratings, Vol. 1: A Look at the Chances Various Republicans and Democrats Have at Winning Their Party's Nomination.

I guess Independents don't count. So what else is new?

Don't know about you, but the whole political exercise seems like manipulation to me, designed to lead us by the nose to support the next establishment-anointed "Leader of the Free World" (choke choke).

The contest, in their minds, has already been decided. So has the winner. We'll just have to wait until they reprogram the votes in the black-box voting machines to match their pre-conceived choice. Hey, piece of cake.

Voting in America these days is kind of like watching a manipulated TV reality show--carefully edited to help insure who comes out on top. Except the stakes are a bit higher in the 2008 election, huh?

God help us.

You have only to look at the media's irresponsible (at best) and criminal (at worst) role in cheerleading for BushCo policies and lies over the last 6 years to be suspicious of this kind of premature election mind-manipulation.

Strange how every time you turn on CNN or NBC or CBS the talking head of the moment is declaring Hillary Clinton and John McCain the two Presidential frontrunners for their respective parties. Huh? It's a bit early for that kind of statement, no? I don't recall seeing any votes cast for either candidate in any primaries, do you?

But isn't that the point? This way, they can plant their candidate-bias-seeds in our brains years before we vote. Then, when we do .... hopefully our well conditioned brain neurons will automatically activate, causing us to vote for the one they've been ramming down our throats for the last 3 years.

And if we actually manage to think for ourselves and vote for another guy? No worries; just call in the computer hackers and get creative with the votes! Ain't it great to be in America?

Maybe I'm just paranoid after so many years of media massaging. And maybe not.
