Now, from the "War President"--Mr. "Bring-It-On", Mr. "Shock and Awe", Mr. Tough-Guy-Only-I-Can-Keep-You-Safe Bush--comes one of the most hair-brained ideas yet: Give Dubai Ports World of the United Arab Emirates permission to take over six Major American Ports.
Does anyone in this country--one single person--actually think this is a good way to secure American ports?
The idea is so unbelievably, ludicrously, stupid you have to ask what is the real motive of this move and who exactly--government officials, corporations, who?--is benefiting from this deal? Exactly whose pockets are being filled with money at the expense of America's security?
We all know the drill by now--money and power drive the engines of Bushco. So what's the real story? Tips welcome.
