The Republicans are at it again, putting partisan politics before the concerns of the American people and, worse, putting our Constitution in jeopardy.
A G.O.P. deal with the White House would impose oversight on domestic spying while squashing the full committee inquiry sought by Democrats.
Guess who was on the administration side of this negotiated deal? Mr. Sure-Shot, himself--Tricky-Dicky-Cheney.
VICE managed to get Chuck Hagel and Olympia Snowe to roll over and play dead for him. Perhaps he twisted their arms with the threat of a pheasant hunting 'invitation'?
Democrats need to open their mouths and protest--loudly--yet another Republican white wash, ignoring the public interest in order to protect the most criminal White House in history (mark my words; it will eventually be proven) from being investigated.
The White House must be held accountable to the American people. We need an investigation. Period. Call your representatives.
