
Why can't the pro-choicers counter the pro-lifers' impotent arguments? Because they allow the pro-lifers to define the argument, just as the middle-of-the-road Dems allow the far right to frame their arguments.
Maybe progressives should just convince George Carlin to run for president, or at least put him in a strategic leadership role. (God knows, they could use some humor.)
