Project Censored:
Truthout writes: "For the past 27 years, Project Censored, a program based at Sonoma State University, in Rohnert Park, California, has compiled a list of the top 25 underreported stories from around the country. This year's list, arranged and reviewed by approximately 200 students and faculty, again contains stories that, for whatever reason, were deemed unfit for American eyes by the mainstream media. We disagree."

I guess I could have made that easier;
Rumsfeld checks shoes while pentagon burns and friends die
Thanks once again, Joe.
De nada.
A quick note. That was a lot of officers killed - not surprising given the military nature of the pentagon.
A key guy, however, was Lieutenant General Timothy L. Maude, 53, an Army Deputy Chief of Staff.
While I would expect that, in fact, the civilian boss of all these guys would have shown some concern for getting them out alive and compassion for failing to, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld must have been personally acquainted with this General.
Like the President, Rumsfeld had no time to attend this General officer's funeral and burial at Arlington, best I can tell.
Sadly and cynically, it doesn't surprise me. 'Pro-life' to the Bush crowd only applies to unborn clusters of cells. Once you are actually born, you're evidently quite expendable. It makes me sick to the core.
