Clarke Rebuts Butt-Head's Policies

I happened to catch The Center for American Progress' presentation on "Combating Terrorism" on C-SPAN around 2 am (ugh) last night.

If you haven't seen it, see it -- Now.

Richard Clarke, Former Counterterrorism Czar and author of Against All Enemies, delivers one of the clearest, most articulate, common-sense expressions of why the policies of BushCo, including the current Bush/McCain calls to escalate the war, are a danger -- and in direct opposition-- to our national security.

Watch on C-SPAN:
Richard Clarke, former head of counterterrorism at the National Security Council, talked about steps to combat terrorism beyond the war in Iraq. He also talked about his opposition to current calls for an escalation of U.S. military capability in Iraq to secure the country and answered questions from the audience.
