Sorry, Conscience, you've got it wrong. First, Lamont stands for traditional Democratic values--something Lieberman has given short shrift in recent years. Plus, Lieberman is a neo-con, through and through, and their agenda is World Empire and Domination. What that means for you and me is that unless we're in their elite club of corruption, we're out of luck. The elites will get fatter and richer and the rest of us will get poorer and poorer. A vote for Lieberman is a vote against the common good. Don't be fooled by Lieberman's self-spin. Actions speak louder than words, and this guy is committed to Bushie's agenda. Even if he is only committed to BushCo's foreign policy -- that is MORE than enough reason to GET HIM OUT -- before the idiots succeed in starting World War III -- and they're closer than you think to doing just that. As for Lamont's positions: Look here.
By the way, I am not in agreement with all of his ideas; I believe in Universal Health Care for all Americans; he does not, for example. And I don't think that position-wise, he is the most impressive candidate. But for all the reasons already stated, I believe he will be better than Lieberman (or the Repug candidate).
Carl Sheeler, running for the Senate in Rhode Island, on the other hand, has positions on issues that are much closer to my own, which is why I am officially supporting him. Compare his positions to those of other candidates out there. Think you'll like him --Almost as much as I enjoyed Yeats "The Second Coming." Thanks for that. :)))

I only meant to say thadt for some 'strange' and 'perplexing' reason...JeruSalem has 'always' been the Centre of 'our' Universe, ie.(where 'Western' thought meets 'Eastern' philosophy)/adding/to/and/creating a...(Clash of Civilizations). Of course, I'yAM eXcluding China's (Economic-Military based Capitalistic Communism), India's (Mega-Capitalism, backed by Nukes), and Japan's ('ReStructed' and somewhat 'Self-Restrained' former Military Industrial Complex).
