Lie By Lie

Thanks to Mother Jones for putting together this interactive timeline of Bush Administration lies:

Chronicle of a War Foretold: August 1990 to March 2003
"The first drafts of history are fragmentary. Important revelations arrive late, and out of order. In this timeline, we’ve assembled the history of the Iraq War to create a resource we hope will help resolve open questions of the Bush era. What did our leaders know and when did they know it? And, perhaps just as important, what red flags did we miss, and how could we have missed them? This is the first installment in our Iraq War timeline project."

ah christ, i just wrote a longass usability review on another site about this. won't bother going into it here but in sum (and stealing/modifying one of my fave quotes from Pulp Fiction'), it's HTML, motherfucker! do you code it?

the info given is fantastic but they could've not used flash--any site that needs an instruction page will turn many off IMO.

nb: i freelance doing usability reviews, last one i did was the monstrously convoluted Bristol International Airport site which now, it way easier to use, especially for people like me.

good usability book by Steve Krug that anyone can understand: 'don't make me think.'
