That is about the lowest level of satisfaction detected since the survey started in December 2003."Could anyone in their right mind actually be surprised by these numbers? I'm surprised there are still 25% of Americans that think things in the USA are going well ....

Why so surprising? for the upper 25% of the elite and wealthy --- the people from the financial and retail sectors == who are at the top of the growing inequality charts the country must be doing very well indeed.
Someone is projecting the market into realms unheard of and the energy companies are doing gangbusters; not to mention the billions of dollars given as bonuses this past year to the people of the brokerage houses.
It really is good to be the king; or a close friend.
